Free Prostate Cancer Screenings for Men

I know, I know. Doesn't sound like your idea of a good time right?
Consider this, 1 in 6 American men is at lifetime risk of developing prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer, excluding skin cancers, in American men. One man in six will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. African-American men are more likely both to have prostate cancer and to die from it than are Caucasian or Asian men.

African-American men and men with close family members who have had prostate cancer are at greatest risk. These men should begin prostate cancer screenings at age 40.

The Arkansas Prostate cancer Foundation provides free screenings. Go here for a list of screenings in your area.
